The Long Island Blue Jays Junior Drum and Bugle Corps Celebrate 75 years of Continuous Service To Long Island 

January 2008 marks the 75th anniversary of the Long Island Blue Jays Junior Drum and Bugle Corps,Inc. making this corps the second oldest continuous drum and bugle corps in the state of New York. Over the years, we have been helping youth, ages 10-19 with the advancement of playing brass and percussion instruments in the field of marching music. Some of our members want to learn to play a second instrument while others are beginners with no musical experience.

We are currently recruiting new members for our corps. For the small fee of only $15 per year, the student receives: lessons, both private and with the group from our teaching staff which has combined experience of over 125 years of drum corps. Also, we provide the instruments so you can practice at home. All parade uniforms and transprotation to the parades are included in this fee.
